Написал тут текст о том, какие мысли помогают мне остаться в сознании и продолжать создавать в этом можно сказать новом мире. Писал на Английском, и решил так и оставить. Кто не поймёт можно закинуть в переводчик I know it has been overwhelming. The post-COVID world, freaking AI, and the whole list of obstacles an artist has to overcome these days just to be able to create.I just wanted to share a few words to say that you are not alone, and I believe you’ll be okay. Here’s something I’m telling myself to stay sane in this mad world:Choose Your MediumDon’t get distracted by temporary movements. Pick your medium or storytelling language—stills, writing, video, painting, or even all of them together. Choose platforms that are appropriate for sharing your work or progress. At some point, I decided to stop contributing to this streaming madness, where watch time is the new currency. Corporations are getting richer by stealing your time, using the best psychologists and sociologists in the world to maintain this online jail. Entertainment has simply become addiction. The number of likes or other metrics doesn’t define your worth. It’s not even up to people to decide who’s popular anymore—algorithms do that. Popular doesn’t mean good, and it doesn’t even mean reach. I know people with hundreds of thousands of followers who struggle to pay bills, while some artists with no social media presence make more money than you can imagine. There are so many ways to monetize your art—don’t get stuck trying to satisfy algorithms.Serve, Don’t SellCreate to solve problems, not to contribute to them. We need more real and honest stories that inspire and educate. We’ll survive without another TikTok or OnlyFans account, but real art can help someone make it through the day or become a better person. And don’t listen to anyone—even me—if you truly believe in what you’re doing, even if you think those pictures of your ass will make the world a better place. The World Isn’t Black and WhiteIt’s okay to take shitty jobs if they help you stay on your path or contribute to your progress in any way. It’s also okay to refuse dead-end jobs or to walk away from people who don’t value and respect your work, even if that jeopardizes your stability.Commit to your ideas and plans, but know when it’s time to quit. Trust yourself, but stay aware of the tricks fear plays on you.Detach Yourself From Your ArtYou are so much more than your art. Otherwise, you’ll always create out of anxiety, stress, or fear, because your identity or ego depends on it. Free yourself, and you’ll create out of wonder and curiosity.Get a LifeSeriously, having hobbies, friends, a partner, or anything else is an essential part of being an artist. It helps you understand that life isn’t just about being adored for what you create. A full life takes the pressure off your creative side.Enjoy the ProcessIsn’t this why you’re doing it in the first place? Take things slow; otherwise, you won’t be able to enjoy them.Take Care of Your BodyYour health often ends up at the bottom of the priority list—until it’s too late. Then it jumps to the top, but by then, the damage is done. Rest is one of the most productive things you’re probably skipping. Cortisol makes you feel efficient, but it’s just an illusion.Inspiration Without Application Is Wasted EnergyLook for references, construct, plan, execute. Don’t get stuck just watching.Procrastination Is Fear of RejectionLearn to enjoy rejection. Learn to enjoy failure. If you’re failing or getting rejected, it means you’re moving forward.Focus on the StoryYour story, and the one you’re telling through your art, matter the most. Choose connection over admiration.
